You have my sympathy. I redid each puff stitch so many times! :-)
I had that problem too a bit. Least yours doesn’t look like a fried egg!!!

I have this book, too. That block looks terrifying.
However, I met Jan Eaton a couple of weeks ago and she said every block in the book is blocked and steamed to within an inch of its life!
Why does that not surprise me? I knew it!!!!!
