  1. Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hope you recover quickly. I am resisting the temptation to turn on the heating with jumpers and blankets but the weather is so changeable. Today I don’t need a jumper. I don’t really male a lot of difference in what I eat between summer and winter but I am finally going to use up some of the frozen chestnut I bought last Christmas and make a delicious nut roast that I have a recipe for.

    • Thank you Jane.
I’ve had the fire on for the last few nights, but not turned on the CH quite yet. It won’t be long I feel!

I’ve been meaning to make Nut Roast for years. My cousin says that and stuffed peppers were all that was ever offered in the 80s. Now the world’s her oyster (well, maybe not the best expression?!) with all the veggies / vegan options too.

  2. Enjoyed your Blog. Am I inspired to add more variety of vegetables to my diet – I tend to stick to the familiar few. Hope you continue to feel better. My crochet has been temporarily set aside while I embroider a cover for photo album for my son’s birthday. I always have too many projects on the go!

  3. So sorry that you have been poorly and ”under the doctor” as the expression goes. Hopefully all those veggies will do wonders for your health. Love the hexies so pretty. I made green tomato chutney on Tuesday, sure sign that Summer has finished. I have Hive thingy for the heating, no idea what to do it has a mind of its own. One more thing to fettle. Stay warm, it looks rather grotty outside today.

  4. Sorry to hear you have had such a miserable September. Hope October is kinder to you. Dear little cutie pies on the beautiful wave blanket 😊😊

I'd love to hear from you...
